Route 120X, ‘Wagon Road / Thornton Express’, provides express service from Denver Union Station to Wagon Road Park-n-Ride via I-25.
A sister route, the 122X, provided express service from Civic Center Station however this was suspended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This route is frequently requested to be recalled, although ridership numbers do not currently support it.
Map & Schedule

Route 120X operates Monday to Saturday. Frequency is generally 30 minutes throughout the day, dropping to 60 minutes in the late evenings.
Vehicles Used

The route is operated by RTD using New Flyer XD60 60ft articulated transit buses and Gillig 40ft Low Floor transit buses from Platt Garage, Denver.

Current Issues
This route suffers from varying departure times from Union Station throughout the day, making it difficult for customers to memorize the schedule.
Future Plans
The System Optimization Plan details no proposals to change this route, however it does propose to bring back sister route 122X in the peak hours only.
GDT recommends that selected 120X trips are expended to Civic Center Station in accordance with the Downtown Bus Plan.
