Located 24 miles northwest of Denver, the City of Boulder sits 5,430 feet above sea level and enjoys 300 plus days of sunshine a year with moderate weather. At the last census, there were 106,392 residents in Boulder, including about 35,000 students who are enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Get There By Transit
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) runs a high-frequency coach service from Denver branded as ‘Flatiron Flyer’ plus local bus service around the city. The City of Boulder also runs a circulator (HOP) bus around the immediate downtown area, with transfers to / from RTD also accepted. In addition, RTD runs coaches to Longmont (BOLT) and Nederland (NB). Finally, Transfort runs buses further north to Fort Collins (FLEX).
