GDT > Get There… > Brighton
Brighton Colorado is a city founded on a rich history of diversity, agriculture, pioneers, railroads, and commerce. Today, Brighton is a teaming mosaic of old and new and recognized as one of the fastest growing cities in the US. Even so, Brighton has been able to maintain that small town appeal and charm that you can’t find in larger suburbs. From Brighton’s growing arts and music scene to the historic downtown with craft breweries and a karaoke bar, from beautiful Barr Lake State Park to the array of local farm experiences and great parks, there’s something to do for just about any age.
Get There By Transit
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) runs buses (120L) from 124th / Eastlake station at the end of the N Line to US 85 & Bridge St Park-n-Ride, which is located in downtown Brighton. There’s also a local bus route (520) in the city. Sadly neither routes 120L nor 520 operate on Sundays. There’s an express commuter coach (RX) from downtown Denver on weekdays, although departures are limited to peak times.
