Route 24, ‘University Blvd’, runs from 40th & Colorado Station to C-470 Park-n-Ride via York Street, University Blvd and University Station.

Route 24 operates 7 days a week. Frequency is generally 60 minutes throughout the day. From January 2025 evening service will be added to the route.

The route is operated by TransDev on behalf of RTD using Gillig 40ft Low Floor transit buses from Commerce City Garage.

Current Issues

This route suffers from poor scheduling at 40th & Colorado Station, here buses are timed to depart exactly as westbound A Line trains arrive. This creates a potentially dangerous situation where passengers attempting to catch buses will be crossing the commuter rail tracks in a hurry and may ignore warning devices.

Future Plans

The System Optimization Plan proposes to increase weekday frequency to 15 minutes, evening frequency to 30 minutes and weekend frequency to 30 minutes.
