2025 Denver City Council

The Denver City Council is the legislative branch of government for the City and County of Denver, Colorado. The council is made up of thirteen elected officials from eleven City and county designated districts and two at-large elected members. Elections for all members are held every four years; the most recent were in 2023. The council elects a president to serve as a leader annually.

Priority Rules
If you have spoken within the last week or last three months, you will move to the bottom of the list to give new speakers a chance.
- On the first Monday of each month, priority is given to speakers 18 years old and younger. Others may still sign up, but youth voices will be heard first.
Council Member Responses
- Council members do not respond to speakers during the session. However, they may follow up individually afterward at their discretion.
Respectful Participation
- Everyone attending cares about our city. Please respect others’ speaking time. Interruptions, whether in person or virtual, may result in removal from the session.
